About

Behind the Artworks

Vanhuffel Atelier was founded by Pierre Vanhuffel, a Belgian graphic designer and visual artist. His work is inspired by brutalist architecture, modernist movements such as the Bauhaus, as well as geometric abstraction and street art.

After training in graphic design and several years of visual experimentation, Pierre developed an expressive aesthetic at the crossroads of graphic design and the visual arts. His works, highly structured yet always open to chance, explore the relationship betweenform, contrast, material, and space.
